Jesse Collins is president and founder of Collins Athletic Performance. Jesse is a highly sought-after coach for both healthy and injured athletes alike , working with athletes of all levels – from youth sports to the professional ranks. While Jesse is best known for his work with football players – working with a countless number of CFL players each year – his scope is not limited to one sport as he works with numerous athletes in a variety of sports to help them achieve their highest levels of performance. Furthermore, his expertise in a wide array of training has made him one of the leading trainers in Ontario for injury rehabilitation and mitigation.

Jesse is a coach who loves to compete alongside his best athletes to push them to higher levels, while also challenging them both mentally and physically. Although prepared in a variety of bodies of knowledge Jesse specializes in applied kinesiology and biomechanics as they relate to program design, corrective exercise, mobility enhancement, maximal relative strength development, and athletic performance enhancement.

ELITE ATHLETE PERFORMANCE TRAINING

What's Included

This is our most in-depth and advanced training option meant for high-end athletes in pursuit of elite performance. This option is meant to take your game to the next level by addressing all aspects of human performance. This option takes all aspects of athletic performance into consideration to give you an elite off-season training protocol that covers all basis.

Your periodized training program is designed to optimally stress your tissues, enabling maximum training adaptations while mitigating the risk of injury. This in combination with detailed nutritional guidance, speed/agility training, and optimal recovery strategies will have you feeling and performing better than you ever have before.

SEMI-PRIVATE GROUP TRAINING

What's Included

This is our most popular training model! To start, clients are put through a thorough evaluation, looking at everything from joint limitations to metabolic capacities. This first session allows us to gather the information necessary to prepare a completely personalized program to maximize the ability to achieve your goals. Following the assessment, athletes execute personalized training materials in a group setting at our facility. While at our facility, clients should expect extremely coaching intensive training, that will maximize the potential of the program by allowing in-depth cueing to address your individual limitations and weaknesses.

GROUP FITNESS

What's Included

Our group classes are designed for individuals looking for a challenging new training program. Opposed to the typical workout you are used to our classes are interactive, fast-paced and focused on helping you reach your target goals. Whether you are an experienced athlete or this is your first training session, our programs are custom tailored to get you the results you expect. Our classes are a mixture of mobility training, weight training and HIIT (high intensity interval training) that will have you feeling better than you ever have before. This combination will not only improve your joint health, strength, cardiovascular endurance, but it is also the perfect combination for aesthetic improvements.

One of the keys to our program is our creative HIIT finishers. HIIT is scientifically proven to increase basal metabolic rate for up to 24 hours post workout. This means you will be burning more calories even at rest when you’re laying around doing nothing. So what does this mean? Well, it means that you will able to develop a lean athletic physique without having to spend hours on the treadmill.

We guarantee that our workouts will have you feeling stronger and better than you ever have before.

ONLINE COACHING

What's Included

The aim of online coaching is to tailor an individualized weight training program to meets your unique needs. Clients will first be put through a thorough assessment, including a CAR’s (controlled articular rotation) skype assessment, looking for joint restrictions and potential limitations. Programs are then designed to optimally stress your tissues, enabling maximum training adaptations while mitigating the risk of injury. Individualized online programming will progressively stress your body so it improves its capacity to exercise.

PERSONAL TRAINING

What's Included

While most of our training takes place in a semi-private (small group) format with individualized programming, there is a limited number of spaces available for individuals to train one-on-one.
These one-on-one training sessions only take place during quiet hours at the facility and are meant for individuals who are brand new to training or are dealing with significant restrictions/pain making exercise difficult. Furthermore, anyone looking for this style of training must have a Full Assessment done prior to their first appointment.

FULL MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT (FRA) OR ONE TIME CONSULTATION

What's Included

An in-depth physical evaluation that is based around a joint by joint assessment (FRA) to identify weaknesses and limitations! This evaluation is a measurement based assessment system that provides objective measures of movement capacities for each and every articulation in the human body. After the joint by joint assessment, we will further look at your biomechanics of movement and strength deficits. I also understand that training as a regular client at our location is geographically unfeasible for many individuals, with that in mind, A one-time in-person consultation is also available. These visits may include (but are certainly not limited to) a full movement assessment, technique coaching, and program critiques. Everyone who visits for an assessment or one time consultation will receive detailed, individualized feedback, and if desired,  comprehensive programming (online or other).

NUTRITION CONSULTATION AND MEAL PLANNING

What's Included

We will start by sitting down to discuss your current nutritional habits, and goals. We will then help you to identify the steps needed to improve your nutritional intake and lifestyle. Finally, we will build you a full meal plan to fit your goals, lifestyle, and nutritional limitations. Your plan will come with our online app that will give you a day by day breakdown of all meals, and a full weekly shopping list.
